Reply:what is required to power computer-styled fans to cool computer-styled radiators using 120VAC receptacles?
Reply:You could get a 12v transformer to power the fan, but why? You can buy 120V muffin fans the same size as you put in a computer (120mm) for the same price as a transformer... and the fans will last longer and generally move more air.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110165327013Last edited by tmarks11; 09-04-2007 at 07:44 PM.Tim
Reply:Or a computer power supply. Out of an AT ( I think that's it... a powersupply that is NOT software controlled by the motherboard..)If you have one laying around, otherwise... go the 120v fan route. |
