old scrap car

I found an old abondond car behind my work place no one has taken it in two years im taking it but i don't know what to do with it. im open for any comments.MY Shop Gear::1: a rock and string2: glass bottle and gas3: old remote and batteries4: metal taped together5: ripped shoe6: smash anphibious water craft

Reply:scrapster - You may find out that people have been looking for it, and a driver..., since that theft, hit and run, whatever. Don't mess with a car without title. The property owner could call for a police impound, that's probably about it.BTW Nice casting web site scrapster!
Reply:if it's legal and safe to grab it, you coudl always make the misses happy and make one big-@$$ed planter out of it! hehehehe. other than that, see about making a BBq out of it? i've seen a couple people take old VW bugs (the ld ones) and make some mobile BBQ's out of them. they make the cab the rack area and drop in a floor pan into the engine compatment area. cut a hole int eh firewall and voila! i've seen em down with the front "trunk" area as a grilling area, the cab used for transporting all the buns and meat and what-not, and they actually drive it tot eh BBQ site! obviously the coals aren't introduced until the car is set. i'm not sure how they stopped the tires from melting and causing other structural damage, btu it sure was cool! lol. not really. hehehehe. good luck!

Reply:If it's not on your personal property and it's not your car...this might constitute theft.  I take junk from trash dumpsters all the time, but I'd be careful with taking something like that.  Many places put auto theft into the felony category regardless of condition of the vehicle.  If you know the property owner or manager or whatever, you might get him to report it as an abandoned car.  Then buy it for $1 at the police auction, or something along those lines.  I'd be careful with taking a car.Last edited by smithboy; 09-30-2007 at 06:42 PM.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
