I had not even made any sort of formal public announcement about the launch of this site..... I am shocked to see the recent flux of activity and wondered where everyone is coming from. ?I am happy to see professionals here... I want to provide a professional forum dedicated to welding.  PLEASE, give me suggestions and feedback to build you guys a great format to interact.  Just so you know... this forum is here to stay.  We are setup on a dedicated server backed by a solid company.I need your input and ideas to build on... so, please bring them forth.Chuck Keough
Reply:Hey Chuck, Looks like business is about to pick up!!!the reason that the site has gotten so busy is, There was a dissension among hobart's made in USA motto and after it was explained what was what and pretty much set on the right track about how somethings were not actually made in USA, yet they stated they were. Soon after, the hobart representative (ROCK) that was one of the nicest most smart men on the subject of welding disappeared, Simple investigation from some of the hobart forum members found that it was -Presumed- that he was terminated from his position after explaining the situation truthfully to forum members. Reply:Chuck ,thanks for welcoming all of us over here. We all feel a little disturbed about the way Miller/Hobart has chose to do business. At this time the facts aren't totally clear,we hope they are cleared up Monday. But we will not be defined by mindless corporate big wig assholes, in a nutshell. Thanks for letting us drop in!
