First pic is the finished rear spool mount w/ reelThe last few pics are the makings of the other reel to be suspended from the top of the van roof support structure for another reel............not yet installed;however tomorrow will be donethese were a bit tougher w/ the option of sliding and swivel of the hose reel post more later of the finished project weld it like you own it

Reply:You know that the structural integrity of that roof bow is on the adhesive bonding it to the roof sheet? Break that bond and the bow becomes pretty flimsy. Maybe not now, but perhaps after a few hundred hard tugs on the air hose?WeldingWeb forum--now more sophomoric banter than anything else!
Reply:Heres the deal ...the adhesive only creates a bond to the cross member....the cross member is by no means supported by the roof...... The wide span of the bracket distributes the weight perfectly. It was tested for 175lbs. Spool assembly weighs 38lbsCustomer requested this design.......so he is always right weld it like you own it
