I know, I know I hate to post more of them here but you guys have to see these ones from this weekend!  The car has turned into an animal and gone WILD!  Again some of you helped me with getting into this stuff here so here are the fruits of the labor!  Here is the best run ever with the car!  10.08 with a 1.36 REAR WHEEL 60' times!  That converts to front wheels at 1.26sec!  Ungodly for a street car.  I don't think the mustang knew what it just saw.  The guy came up to me afterwards and after our conversation said.  "I think I should have bought a corvette!"  lol.  http://s26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...t=1008run2.flvAnd then the next run which is even crazier yet.  http://s26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...t=330ftRun.flvThe others at the track were dumbfounded.   Again thanks for you guys help here last year and again thanks for letting me share the fun.  Best Times with 434 Naturally Aspirated Vette60 - 1.261/8 -  6.37@ 107.25 MPH 1/4 - 10.08 & 134.9MPH1/4 - 9.60@144MPH

Reply:Time to update your sig.  Awesome job with the corvette.Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American G. I. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Reply:Looks and runs great! I agree with either getting some bars or changing your instant center, etc. No wheel limiters on the front? You're moving for a N/A small block, GREAT job!John -  fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!-  bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com

Reply:Sounds like a good set-up...Imagine how fast and safer you would be with a cage..You will need one soon enough anyway if you want to race in on a regular basis..Food for thought..thats all..But impressive nonetheless... ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Make your measurements and find a chassis shop that will do the bending..Thats how we built the 'HossThey are out there so just find one in your area..'Jersey has quite a few.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:non-sense! why pay for someone else to bend tube when you can just beat it with a hammer into place? hehehehe. every fine-tuned machine needs some sort of good 'ol home-grown engineering... think BMW with Mud Boggers. hehehehe...in all reality tho... i'm not sure how safeit woudl be, but what i did for my exhaust is cut the pipe at an angle, rotate one half 180 degrees and re-weld. the angle that you cut will be half of the angle you will create by doing this. basic mitering... lik ei said, it may not work too well, but if you want a bullet=proof cage, just use some 2" solid bar stock. hehehehehe.later,Andy

Reply:Put some weight in the back n make it a wheelstander.....never seen a vette pull like that....geeeeeeez.  I saw this ol timer at a car show with a totally garage built 64 impala (stick welded EVERYTHING) he put a steel caster on the front crossmember to save his oilpan....says it worked like a charm.Miller blue star 2eLincoln 175
