The above helmet is another helmet I am considering. It is sold at Lowes.All comments on this one will be appreciated.Thanks,Jack
Reply:@JackI picked this helmet up about a year ago as my first auto-darkening helmet and I have been very very happy with it. From 1-10 I give it a 9.5. The hemlet feels like it is well built, you are backed by LOWES if it messes up. They have had this product on their Kobalt line for a very long time which means its been working well for them. I gave it a 9.5 because when you have it in the Up position it creeps Down.. Takes some time to adjust it but once it is dialed in it is great. As far as keeping up with the style of welding it does the job perfectly. I've also used it as a grinding shield and it works very well for that as well. Tip to save some money is grab a 10% off coupon at the USPS store.. ask for a change of address packet and they generally have one enclosed in there. (Not sure if they do this for all areas.. )Le
