Piping welding

Hi everyoneI am going to start a piping fabrication and installation project in OIL & GAS offshore fields.The job is almost about 45000 inch of pipingDo anyone of have any formulas or softwares or any tables for calculation of the required welding consumables for this amount of work in piping?thanks for all

Reply:I know of a dude around here that bid on a pipe job without any knowledge of the industry and actually got it.It's for the city....Word is that he's just butting the ends up and welding a cap on them to save time and money. Reply:I got a million inches of pipe to weld by Friday. Does anybody know what kinda fabric softner I should use? Seriously give us more details and I'm sure one of the many intellingent members or moderators could point u in the right direction
