It also reminds me why i think people should list their city of residence. For example if it said fort lauderdale in your profile i would probably say come on over and use my Pro-tools hmp 200 tubing bender Victor SuperRanger O/A Solar migLincoln Powermig 140Southbend 9in lathe350# kohlswa anvilMiller Maxstar 150 stl etc....

Reply:How much do you have to do? How accurate does it have to be? What size tubing?A muffler shop may be able to help you with a few bends Victor SuperRanger O/A Solar migLincoln Powermig 140Southbend 9in lathe350# kohlswa anvilMiller Maxstar 150 stl etc....
Reply:I have bent tube for years using a torch, thick gloves and a vise. You can get some good bends with practice. And I now have a JD squared bender. But.... I STILL bend large radius tube the same old way. I don't have a roller that would get me a bend that gradual. It works well, just don't seal wet sand in the tube. Make sure it is dry. Don't ask how I know!!!!!!Last edited by Rojodiablo; 11-17-2007 at 11:22 PM.And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return. |
