There is a guy selling one used, and assuming it's in good shape with no accessories, what do you think is a fair price?He's asking $300 which I think is way too high, but I want some more experience peoples opinions.I'm starting to come to terms with the fact that my 100 amp AC stick welder is not so good for sheet metal and thin tubing, which seems to be the stuff that I run into more often.

Reply:If all you have is 110v power, I would at least step up to something with more output within the 110v mig category. Reply:Then by a Miller 211 -- it runs on both 110 and 220v, so you can go big when you've got a 220 outlet in your shop but still go portable when you want to go weld something where there won't be 220. Downside is it costs $800.As a data point, I sold my Hobart Handler 140 for $300. It was less than a year old. Great little welder.Jack OlsenMy garage website

Reply:I think they've got an issue on their the site. I looked earlier and I got a similar stupid number for list on another machine. My guess is someone hacked them..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
