is that possible? i hope so cuz i just got the wire today. special adapter needed? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Reply:http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o225311c_mil.pdfSection 4-10 shows an adapter and nut being needed to run an 8" spool (I'm pretty sure thats about 12 lbs) I have no idea if that adapter came with the machine or you have to get it seperately..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:As long as the spool diameter is 8" or less and the spool width is 2" or less with a 2" dia inside hole, the spool will fit just fine. The weight number isn't the important part.
