Since I'm Miggi'n for a few years now I was thinking toget a TIG machine. I would do mostly small detailed type work.1/2" - 1 1/2" square tubing 1/8" flats etc. Mostly steelbut want to have AL SS capabilities as well.I've been snooping around the Dynasty range machines.??Ideas??
Reply:depending on the space that you have i would highly recomend a syncrowave 250 or the lincoln square wave 255, both kick *** machines!! and the are both older machines so you can save some cash, the t.a 185 is a neat lil tig too !!
Reply:Unfortunately the space is a concern. That is the reason for the Inverter based machine. The MM210 is alredy a bit bigger than I'd like but a really great machine. So that stays no matter what. Is there anyone out there who has a Dynasty 200DX and hate it? Or has a change of hart say I'd wish I bought somethingelse??
Reply:I just ordered HTP's Invertig 201, it has close to the same features as a Dynasty DX, without the capability to run 120 / 460 volts, comes with a flowmeter, torch, foot pedal or hand amp control and ground cord-clamp. $2300. http:www.usaweld.comRich
Reply:look into a t.a 185 very nice machine, and your skill will grow with it, do a search on it on the board ............. they run about 1750 on ebay, for me i would stay with a lincoln miller or t.a . machine not a esab or htp. you have to be able to have a dependable machine thatyou can get parts for !! |
