Reply:Bluco is the one company I can think of off the top of my head. But I know there are others. Bluco specializes in fixtures to fit their welding table. It's top notch equipment but the price is sky high.Benson's Mobile Welding - Dayton, OH metro area - AWS Certified Welding Inspector
Reply:Look at StrongHand Tools. They have an excellent welding table, with several options for fixturing kits. No affiliation with Strong Hand tools...Just have one of their tables on my Xmas list._kevin
Reply:Find a company that does granite counter tops. They will usually have cutouts and end cuts for sale cheap. The granite has one polished and one smooth surface that are pretty parallel and flat.Steve

Reply:That Strong Hand Tools video came from weldingtipsandtricks.com. It's an awesome website...i've been following it for a couple of years. The guy that runs that site, has had nothing but great things to say about the BuildPro table.
Reply:Do an ebay search for welding tables. One of the sellers is a machinry dealer who sells the tables from scrapped milling machines. They may be old but they will be ground very flat and true, and cast iron to boot. All with T slots to bolt stops and clamps to. Many sizes available. No affiliation, just where I bought mine. Many sizes available.http://stores.ebay.com/Nu-Tek-Sales_...6807861?_rdc=1Last edited by Sputter Fizzle; 11-08-2010 at 05:03 PM.Reason: link |
