serial # g790435211 model # ccka-ms/3718jit does run but has no timer on it. is there a way i can guesstimate the time on it?how much would it be worth? what can i offer for it? where can i get leads from?any info on this welder/generator would be appreciated or links to it as well. thanks everyone. Reply:Originally Posted by smawgmawAlmost impossible to guesstimate the amount of running time.  You can go to Miller's website and input the ser# and model# for a downloadable owners manual and to date the age of unit.  It appears you may be missing part of serial number though.  You should have I believe two letters before the numbers, although, I may be incorrect.  What is it worth and what should you offer depends on how much you are willing to spend on it.  Not sure of the value but somewhat less with no leads.  The welding leads can be purchased at any welding supplier.  This machine is the early version of the Miller Legend.

Reply:If it runs, weld, and generates power it's probably worth a few hundred.  Those are good machines, but by the looks of that one it could die at any moment.  I'd lowball it since you have no idea how long this thing will last.Where's the gas tank!?  Nice electric fuel pump.  It should have a diaphram pump on the other side end of the engine.  How does the engine oil look?
