Reply:ill get some tomorrow morning
Reply:Ugh. I had a nissan. Welding those body panels is exremely difficult due to the very thin gauge that they used.I would not do any welding in the middle of the rocker panels even if I could. I would weld at the door seams. I grabbed a few scrap nissan parts to weld on before I did my REAL doors. Reply:Also note- these are structural members on this car. They are not just simple cosmetic pieces like a full-frame car has. They have to be installed correctly to keep the car's strength.
Reply:OK then prob just have my mechanic due them then Ill post pics later
Reply:how much do you think it would cost to have a mechanic do it
Reply:thanks for your help but me and my dad are going to sell it and get me a little truck and figure it will be more practical

Reply:tuboblown said that they were structural so i think ill just sell is and ill take out the dents in the fender
Reply:Take it by a body shop and let them look at it. They usually give free estimates, and if they did the job, they could probably have it done in two days or less.
Reply:SWEET Z!These cars love turbochargers...hint hint.
Reply:lol i want a truck any ways and if i sell it it will give me a little $$ to get a little truck
Reply:i had to make some panels for my 4runner. i went to the local dealership collision repair center and they gave me a slightly bent hood that i used to make my panels out of. my panels were small 3"x12". |
