Hey Guys ________ what do you guys think of the Pro Cut 25(or, any of the other quality name brands in that class ($$ wise and capability wise). Also I would like your opinions on a good Mig (Miller251or 210 /, Linlocn255or215) to go along with it. What Im interested in doing is Truck fabrication (sliders, bumpers etc .and some mid capacity trailers) Im thinking the size of metals that I would be working with would be between ¼1/2, and I would like to be able to make the weld and cut in one pass. I would greatly appreciate your input._____ THANKS BAYRUNNER
Reply:I think the Pro Cut 25 is way to small, if you saw the machin in person, you wouldnt think its capable of cutting much. I think you should go with at least a Pro Cut 55. I just got a Pro Cut 80 used on ebay, thats a $3k machine i got for $1400, should be here tomorrow. Im a fan of Lincolns machines so Id say go with the PM 255, i have one and love it. The MM 251 is just as nice so its up to you.www.jmfabrications.comLincoln Precision TIG 375Lincoln Precision TIG 275Lincoln Power MIG 255Lincoln Power MIG 140CMiller Dynasty 350 (x2)TD Cutmaster 80 |
