Instead of hijacking Redhatman's CB mount thread any futher, I'll post these here. Here's the lense guard I made for the wife's 97 Cherokee. They have been on there for a few years now and I see there due for another coat of paint.....yeah I should have them powdercoated. If you don't want to stand behind our Troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

Reply:If you have a solid bench to clamp things to, a vice and a big hammer, you should be able to do it. I did these with basic tools. A 2' piece of pipe will give extra leverage for the bending. Smaller rod would make it easier too, but may not have the same effect.If you don't want to stand behind our Troops, feel free to stand in front of them. |
