Custom attachments for an industrial central vacuum system. It is 3" diameter at the attachment with 6" diameter mains and a big positive displacement air pump (blower) .They will be used for clean up at a bulk storage and conveying facility. Had to cut reliefs in the ends so that is couldn't accidentally seal against someones body, in which case they'd have a baseball sized hicky in a matter of two seconds. Used a miller 30 A spool gun and straight argon. Some 3/4 inch schedule alum pipe for the handles...I bent them with heat and a couple pegs welded to my bench. 3" diameter tubing, about 12 gage., and some 1/8 and 3/8 sheet for the foot...1/2 round rod for retainers and 1/4" sheet formed for the outer sleeve of the foot.Last edited by Tinbasher; 01-31-2008 at 10:01 PM.
