QUESTION: Has anyone used this combination of Miller Mig 175, Spoolmate 3035 gun and the SGA 100 or SGA 100C, to weld aluminum?...I am a sculptor here in Wilmington, NC., and I have a commission to build a six fott diameter aluminum globe for the childrens museum. I have worked with stainless and cold/hot rolled steel but never aluminum. I want to use aluminum for the project because of the weight...it will be suspended 25' in the air and will be slowly rotating. If anyone can give me some advise on this set-up, I would be most grateful...Thanx to All!Paul Hill |
