Reply:My guess would be, the small valve is the idle/pilot light, the big valve is the throttle to make fast heating, LOL

Reply:I have an anvil that I need to build a stand. It was my dad's and originally had a wooden block underneath it. It looks like you used wood blocks to cushion it and the 3 posts means it doesn't have to have a flat floor to sit on.How has it worked out? Anything that you would add?thanks,Jim

Reply:Hey Jim, why don't you just send your anvil down here to me, I'll build you a stand for it and even offer to keep it in storage for a few years, putting it to good use of course, that way you won't have to worry about tripping over it in your shop(lol). Seriously that's a real nice set up you've got, I just built a coal forge and am looking at making a gasser now. Anyone know where to get a quality anvil from thes days, not cast iron?
Reply:I trucked this back from Colorado, have been dragging it around for years, and have been guarding it with my life.Jim
