How can I undo this weld?

Hey guys, I'm modding an iPod Photo to be something and I need to remove something that's welded on the inside.Above is a picture of an iPod Photo. That one is not mine but it looks almost exactly the same except for some minor adjustments. I have lined the inside with a soft material, already glued it in so I can't remove it. I didn't expect the bracket thing on the side to be a problem, but it is.I believe the welds used on the bracket are spot welds.How can I undo these without messing anything up?Please post with your answers, thank you.
Reply:if their just spot welds maybe you could just drill them out with the correct sized drill, being careful not to go to deep and hurt the outer cover. be careful not to get any metal in the electronics.Hope this helps Ryan_______________________OF COURSE I DON'T LOOK BUSY...
