Reply:Go to homes depot, lowes, or specialized hardware store. You can usually find some 3/16" bar.Lots of toys.

Reply:Spend the $4.oo you are worth it. I bought one piece of 1/16" X1" and pulse sprayed it. Money well spent because I didn't even thing I could do it. There is a picture of it on here some place. Call it education. DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:Scrap aluminum is hard to come by.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
Reply:Maybe try your local recycler. They will probably sell you some scrap aluminum to play around with.
Reply:When I lived in Phoenix, Glendale Metal Supply, or whatever was their name, had aluminum stock there. Back then, they were on Northern around 59th Ave, if I remember correctly.
