I recently purchased an ESAB Mig/Tig/Arc welder. Both my son & I have had difficulty getting the rod (E6010) to strike. We set the voltage as recommended for welding on .1875 steel tubing. I was wondering if the rod might be bad or if we just don't have the machine set up properly?
Reply:If its a 360 you have to make sure the function switch is set on stick. Won't work if its set on mig or tig.
