I've had one of the little 4 X 6 metal cutting bandsaws for about 25 years. It came from Montgomery Ward. It has saved me so much time and energy that I can't even imagine not having it.Today I rough cut a piece of 1" square tube and it came out a tad too long. I just put it back in the saw and made another pass. This time it was just right.John Attached Images
Reply:How did you hold that little piece in the vice? I'd say that saw works great. I've never tried to shorten anything by that much on the saw. Thats what a grinder is for.
Reply:I am on my 3rd HF 4x6 and i have cut 100,000 parts with them. One runs production cutting thousands of parts per day.
