I built this for another brew club member for his house.  I did all the work, including the plumbing, priming, painting, wiring, pumps, castor, etc...  He has someone installing the control panel and such because I dont do electricity, I just ran the wiring.  It will be totally automated, once its done, but my job on it was done.  Over 118 stick welds later here is the final product.  I also ground and feathered the welds so that they flowed with the frame.

Reply:hang tight, Im almost done
Reply:alright, I lied no Im doneFinally, here is me with my Microbrewery.  I can output about 200 gallons a day with this system If I push it, but I can do a comfortable 100 gallons a day no sweat.  To put it into perspective, I can output about 50 cases of the best damn beer you've ever tasted .  Here it is, Pale ale fermenting.  The wort (unfermented beer in this picture looks dark for a pale ale, but throughout the fermentation the beer will lighten up.This is the finished product, a damn tasty Pale Ale, crafted from grain to glass.
Reply:Ok, I'm sold, that is pretty dang cool.  I'll take two!    No really man, great work, that thing is awesome!Have a Jeep Cherokee?  Click Here!
Reply:That looks very interesting - nice work. I have always considered myself an expert at drinking that stuff, but never tried to make any. How long does it take to cook up a batch ?? What is your output with a rig like that ??Those are two pretty little girls you have there. When my daughter was that age she had much rather speed her time with daddy rather than her mama.
Reply:Very nice. Some of those flame picts are neat.
Reply:Nice set up.  You must make some mean brew if you have to carry a gun while making it.I would like to order a raspberry wheat.
Reply:Thank you for the compliments, I take pride in my brewing and equipment I make for it.  All my brewery does is make the unfermented beer (wort), from there it goes into my 14.5 gallon stainless steel conical in the picture below, from there I pitch (throw in the fermenter) the yeast into the fermenter with the wort, and from there it takes about a week to fully ferment out, and another week in a keg under co2 to condition.  You can drink it early at the two week mark and it will taste great, but the longer you let it sit and lager under refridgeration the better and smoother the beer tastes.  Seeing how the process takes a little long I make batch after batch so that I always have good beer to drink and everything ages one after another.  You know what sounds crazy, If I have 30 gallons of beer on hand I feel that Im running low.  No Im not an alcoholic, and I really dont drink much, maybe 6 to 7 pints a month, but my friends are the ones that wipe me out.  They contribute money for more ingredients for the next beer so it works out.  My system can output about 100 gallons in a day, which equates to 50 cases of beer without me breaking a sweat, but I really dont know if Im sweating seeing how I drink while I brew.Last edited by usmcruz; 04-25-2008 at 01:04 AM.

Reply:Man if you could draw something up simple and quick That would be GREAT. Brewing is something i have really been wanting to get into .. infact i picked up a two tap kegerator about 6 months ago that i refurbished and want to start my own setup.
Reply:Did you get paid per weld, since you counted over 118 of them? How many 14.5 gallon Fermenators does it take to get your claimed 200 gallons a day?  Or do you use some sort of fast acting turbo yeast that makes a batch in 5 minutes?
Reply:That is one he11 of a brewery.  I have one too, but a little simpler.  I use a JSP maltmill, and converted 1/2 kegs along with a 1/4 keg for the mash tun.   I open ferment in a converted 1/2 keg too.Nice welding, awe some "driveway" job.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:Right on!My favorite beer these days is Innis & Gunn, but at just shy of 4 bucks a bottle cdn, man...one of those with say a 6 pack of keiths or 1516 and man...I gotta learn to brew my own!Last edited by mb_welder; 04-25-2008 at 08:54 AM.
Reply:Wow... there are a lot of combination brewer / welders out there I've been brewing for six years, just switching to all grain and an outdoor burner using some converted kegs as kettles.  I've thought about making a setup similar to that one - it's on the long list of projects!Currently, I am working on a 35 gallon stainless tank to ferment some bigger batches in.  Especially with the summer coming and spring wines taking up my glass carboys, I decided to just go with a few larger carboys out of stainless! In the mix:  Dandelion wine (one batch from last year ready to bottle, and a new one from this year is coming soon!), blueberry wine (ready to bottle), and a Czech Pilsner ready to keg up!Take care - thanks for the project pictures USMCRUZ, they are appreciated!  Nice work Chet---------------------------------Miller Dynasty 200DXMiller Spectrum 375 Extreme

Reply:Thank you all for the compliments there appreciated.  I really love brewing, and I brew often.  I always have at least 40 gallons on hand, just in case of a hurricane, end of the world, alien invasions, .......Bandaid, I can do one better than a drawing.  To get a good visual of what kind of system you want to build as well as tons of information, a forum, and pictures of systems.  Here are the links, but the site's address is morebeer.com info on brewinghttp://morebeer.com/learn_center/learning_beerbrewing systems.  The systems are under the link called sculptures.  Id rather you look at pictures of systems already built because my drawing sucks.  Id screw up a stick man.http://morebeer.com/search/102305The forumhttp://forums.moreflavor.com/Goto the morebeer site fellas, you will learn allot, plus I think there running free shipping right now.As for my .45 glock 30.  I carry it everywhere.  I have a license for it if you guys are wondering.  I mean it, when I say everywhere.  I even have my holster on when I sleep.  I fall asleep with my hand on my holstered pistol, and I wake up with my hand on it.  Allot of bad stuff has happened around our area, so I will be ready to protect my family when the time comes calling.  Its just how I roll, and I see nothing wrong with it, its normal for me.Last edited by usmcruz; 04-26-2008 at 12:38 AM.
Reply:Thanks for the links :-) .... and on carrying... i feel lost without my xd .40... it goes where i go.
Reply:Your welcome Bandaid, anytime.  Now get brewing .Nice work on the project. As far as all the comments on the gun, our country was built on God, Guns and Guts. It's your right to carry it, don't let anyone take that right from you. Don't let people from other places try to ridicule you because they don't enjoy the same rights we do.

Reply:NICE work
Reply:Sweet Brutus clone build.  I am in the midst of a 3 tier gravity system, not a big fan of pumps, but maybe someday.  Nice job on the rig and an impressive collection of fermenters in your garage.  If I had that many sitting around, my SWMBO would probably move my clothing out to the front lawn.
