This is my first project. Im pretty satisfied with it myself. It was a stand up grill and I made it into a laydown smoker. As said by CHENRY:you cant weld on a thingamajig like that. are you even certified to do thingamajig welding ? I once saw an improperly welded thingamajig fail and eleventy twelvoteen things got ballywhacked. I dont think i would risk it.
Reply:I'd be much more impressed (jealous) if I saw it with some food in it!! some things I just can't live without.

Reply:Just one suggestion: Finish up the lower shelf and cover that exposed Expanded edge- that will slice and dice anything that brushes against it.
Reply:add beer and bar-b-que, and you are cooking...literally!!!Looks good from here. A bbq is a good project to start with. You might want to put a frame around your grill top, to prevent bending and warping...that's about the only thing I would do extra...but, only after the beer and bbq.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:Some paint, Few beers and some fresh roadkill, be just right. gitr done |
