How do I fix this gas line?

Bought a tig torch from Harbor frieght, last one they had. It was used and the end of the hose is cut. Reply:On my HF TIG torch, it looked like they wrapped it in vinyl tape (read: electrical tape).  If you buy the HF regulator, it will have a hose barb to 9/16-18F adapter that will match the regulators 9/16-18M discharge.  The other fitting that is common on regulator discharges is 5/8-18F, so you'll need an adapter for that.

Reply:Well then you're going to need a 3/16" hose barb to whatever will fit your regulator.  A picture or model number of the regulator would allow me to tell you the other side of the adapter.

Reply:On mine, I was lucky to get the barb in the hose at all.  It's a pretty tight fit.  If you need more security, you can put a hose clamp on it.http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/we...ot/HC-50x.html

Reply:better than a hose clamp is this tool---clamp-tite . you can buy it here --http://www.bluewater-marine-rv.com/html/clamptite_tool.html  . use thin stainless or monel wire to make the clamp.
