Well...I've been extremly busy lately and thought it was time to contribute to the forum....so....One of my guys smacked an armco barrier a few weeks back while running too hot intothe Oak Tree turn at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) .Needless to say he did some damage to the car, so I got a bunch of work .  The steering rack mount took a nice hit and as a result it shifted to the left....this thread shows the repair to the rack mount.  Enjoy !   P.S. Reply:It's a good thing your friend has you as a friend..I'm sure you'll make sure it's all right.getting through the Oak tree turn well is very important to laptimes at VIR. You need to carry as much speed onto the backstrech aas you can.For really good exit speed you really almost need to drift out of it which means not much room for error.Don't talk about it, Just do it!
