I got a 50lb box of Lincoln Fleetweld 22 1/8" rods at an equipment auction for next to nothing (whole shelf of stuff for $10). I know it's primary use is spotwelding decking. Since I don't do that... is there any other general applications for this rod or will I just end up burning holes thru everything I try to weld with it?
Reply:id say you can use it on heavier stuff you might tink around with. Watch the amps and this stuff has good penetration, but keep limited to flat position. I wouldt use it on anything critical. but im sure you can find things to tinker with good luckIF it Catches...Let it Burn
