im having trouble with porosity welding eyelets on cylinder shafts the eyelets are usually oily and dirty. what is a good filler rod. im using er70s6
Reply:clean them the best you can,and try 6011,6013o9r 6010.There made to cut through the oil and dirt and also give decent pen.

Reply:Or perhaps you should consider getting a wire brush attachment for your grinder. They clean oil off great.

Reply:I've seen a lot but never seen that. Have you? I've welded on a bunch of cyl. and never thought of that as being an issue. Is it?
