Reply:Nice work, that last piece looked like fun. I havent touched clean Aluminum in weeks now.Did you do the machine work as well?I used to work for a race team that had a couple RSXsYup
Reply:Dat's some nice stuff!!!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Steedspeed.com does the machine work for most of my stuff. I'm just a welder.I hear you about the clean aluminum thing. I have fixed alot of boat trailers, flat decks, fuel tanks, bumpers, etc, etc. Dirty aluminum is not any fun.
Reply:I saw the intake manifold on H-T. Nice work manEver tried using dimple dies to stamp the holes in the sheet metal and stiffen em up a bit more?
Reply:The brackets - are those strong enough? It looks like you have an inspection pit - is it correct? If you were a Baker I would congrat you with such good welding but since you are a Welder then just keep up excellent work...
Reply:Yeah, I have had a set of dimple dies for almost a year. Just haven't gotten a press yet to use them. They are definately strong enough. The piece is only 13" x 24" in a bathroom. It acts as kind of a towel tray/rack for a limited mobility person.I'm not sure what you mean by an inspection pit. You mean teh hole in the concrete for cars? I have no such thing. I'm assuming something in the background of a pic made you think that?...I'll have a hoist soon enough, can't wait.Edit:I found the pic you saw...The one of my rsx up on the dyno hoist. That's my buddy's dyno shop. Just snapped a pic while he was putting the 02 sensor intot he header for the tuning. |
