Went to clean my cobalt AO lens today and it separated the gold from the tinted lens. I've had it for 15 years. I have never used a lens so comfortable or easy on my eyes. I hear they stop making them many years ago. Is there anything that comes close to these lens on the market today?

Reply:Since I am sure there will be the standard assortment of brands, I will throw out the old tech. One of the guys in the shop loves his Didymium glasses. Apparently, the lenses were borrowed from glassblowers. He uses them for OA brazing and soldering and claims to have sensitive eyes. I have no personal experience with them, just trying to offer creative suggestions.
Reply:Thanks for the replies but I refering to my American Optic cobalt blue welding lens. The abreviation was deceiving I know. I have the auto darken helmets but they don't come close to the American Optic lens. Thanks
