OK some of you pipe welders, I use 6010 all the time for repair work on rusty Amish horse drawn machinery. I just ran across a deal on some 8010, just wondered how it welded compared to 6010. Reply:Depends on who makes it. Not all 8010 run the same from Hobart to Lincoln and Lincoln to ESAB or whoever. What brand are you planning to buy.
