hi all,new to this web, but not to welding, although i havent welded anything in 15-20 years, when i did a bit of stick and torch welding.i decided that for my motorcycle projects i would have to get a proper welding tools, and found some professional which was willing to sell me lincoln 131 tig, migatronic mig and a hyperterm plasma cutter, for about the price of the cheapest miller tig here in iceland.i ended up buying the lot, but the guy who sold it to me, then got a big job where he needed the tools, so i allowed him to rent the stuff from me. then when i got the stuff back from him, i sold the mig so i more or less got the tig and the plasma free.here are some picsi mounted both on the tig trolley. the lincoln 131 and the hyperterm the cable and the gun is a kempi, an can be tvisted and turned and here are my very first test welds. not good but then again not so bad. i've never tig welded beforethis is 4mm stainless, no fillerthis is 4mm stainless, with fillerand here is a standard 3/8" pipemy upcoming projects will be fixing a frame for a slightly damaged suzuki intruder, t-bars, fenders etc for the bike, brackets for the winches i'm restoring, etc. i'm like a kid in a candy store now, spending most of my time in the garage playing with the tig welder.if anyone has any great ideas on how one can make someting fun out of horseshoes, i'm game!cheers from iceland,kf
