tig pak?

got a question about this snap on welder of mine.just to re-fresh its a  YA212 mig.i got the original owners manual from snap on and on the back page it says "options".under that it has an add on tig pak,and also a spool gun.any info ,input about these add ons would help.thank in advance for any replies.hope everyone had a great 4TH of july....matts dad
Reply:It is a tig torch for the machine. You will not have AC or high Freq. so it's pretty much for steel use only. It wouldn't be a bad setup for chassis work or general messing around but without the AC and high Freq. alluminum and other non ferous metals are out.   Around here you can find surplus aircooled Tig torches for 50$ so that might be the better route.Millermatic 251Century 180 migSpectrum 625 Syncrowave 250DX
