Looking for a deal on 7014 electrode.  After looking at prices on internet sites, I bought 5 lbs of Lincoln 3/32 6011 at Home depot for $12 and change, Lincoln 3/32 6013 was about the same cost.  I am in the San Diego area, and have been using about a pound of rod a month. Reply:When it comes to electrodes, it's hard to find a "deal". And on the web, the shipping will kill any savings. Remember, the LWS gets pallets of the stuff, so the shipping is much cheaper. There is a guy on CL in my area that was selling 50# cans of various Lincoln rods for $1.00/#. Other than that...... Reply:WestAir sold me 5 pounds of 1/8" 7014, for $12.51 out the door.  The electrodes were $2 per pond, the rest was HAZMATPIC fee and sales tax.  I am pleased with the store, price and the service.I offer three choices: Good, Fast, & Cheap.
