I am a garage welder that has a long way to go in learning MIG welding. So, I decided to try and take a welding class. Unfortunately, this is not practical, as I am at work when the classes are offered. So, I emailed the Director of our local Trade School and asked if he knew any instructors that give private lessons. I got an email back from an instructor today that is interested in teaching me. I can't wait to get started! I hope to learn Stick, MIG and TIG. The only problem is that I will most likely want all of these different machines
Reply:That's a great idea for guys/gals with crazy scheduling issues!

Reply:Thats what I call persistent!!!! Get a private teacher. You will be amazed how much faster you get it once you have had a little help from a welder to show you where your going wrong. It will definately be worth the money no matter how much it costs, just in saved money from not screwing up a bunch of material. As far as getting all of the welders, it's OK I did pretty much the same thing when I started and now I have all of em covered. They may not be the biggest baddest most powerfull but I can do any process I need at the flip of a switch and turn of the gas valve. And believe it or not I didnt spend an arm and a leg buying just about 100% domestic stuff. Out of everything I have I only have one chinese stick welder and if it blew up today it wouldnt be a loss at all. So get busy and dont be discouraged it will all make sense and look good in a whileBobI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys? Trade? |
