Ever hear of this machine??

I recently bought a new TIG welder. It is made by a company called Dytron. The name of the welder is Microtron. It is capable of using 110 or a 220 power source. Plugged into the 110 it will go up to 100 amps and 220 up to 200 amps. It has pulse, crater fill, HF or touch. Only thing it dont have is AC. It weighs about 20 lbs. I have been a welder for 10 years and never heard of them. I was just curious if anyone else has ever heard of them. I bought it off a friend who didnt know what he had. I called the company and they told me new it was 3100 and was designed for when a mold would crack or a cnc mill would crash, instead of unbolting the part they could go in with this welder and fix the part so they wouldnt have to recalibrate everything. Just curious of other info if ya got any thanks.

Reply:Ya, thats why I called them cause thier website sucks. Maybe thats why nobody ever heard of them, poor advertisement.
Reply:With what I do if a mold was to crack we would first (hide someplace far away from the cracked mold) then somebody would get in trouble (probably Me because I installed it and set it up) then the next thing would recalibrate everything no matter if it was welded in place or taken out for repair. Reply:I bought one 6 months ago on Ebay.  For low amperage work it runs fantastic.   Used it for Die repair and welding small dia crmo tubing
