Better worse?175 amps, 1/4" flat plate, 1/2" round bar, Tube is 1/4" wall.3/32" Red tungsten, 1/16" filler.My look,May have been a little hot I think, the 1/2" rod is under cut some I think also. Maybe more filler? Attached Images

Reply:Very nice, even and consistent. Maybe a little on the concave side, maybe some undercut. As you say, a bit more filler wouldn't hurt.Thanks for the photos.
Reply:Did you try to get a little bit closer? it will narrow your arc so you will reduce undercut and you won't "spread" your filler metal too wide espescially for the 1/2" rod.But it is good.CheersRiver
Reply:http://www.weldingweb.com/attachment...9&d=1163127027well it looks good except for the obvious..next time try coming off the upright tube and just keep going down the roundstock to the left without stopping..stopping and starting in corners is a if it can be avoided at all..but overall very nice.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home. |
