Reply:I've never used the Invertig machine, but HTP is a respectable company and makes good machines. I've owned my HTP MIG200 since new for close to 15 years now and have no complaints about the machine, the company or their customer service. They are a small family owned company and you can call and talk to the owner, Jeff Noland, most any time during regular business hours. If I remember right, the phone number is 1-800-USA-WELD, or visit their website at www.htpweld.com

Reply:I'm coming up on a year with a HTP Invertig160DC. No problems yet. I use it for DC stick welding on stainless steel too.TeddCoHTP Microcut 400 & Invertig 160DC Smith Dual Guard MD-510 OA Rig Lincoln SP135+ Hobart Stickmate LX 235/160
Reply:I've had my Invertig 201 for about 6 months now and it works great. I've used ti more for Stick then TIG lately but I've had no problems at all. What TIG'in I've done seems to work well. The arc is smooth and fairly easy to control (at least for me). I like the fact that it came with everything at the right price. Stick electrode, Tank Valve, Foot pedal etc.
Reply:another vote for happiness with the invertig 201, mine only being a few weeks old. Love it so far!
