Ok here is the deal, I am able to pick up this 220V mig welder for 40$ without the gun. The dude knows little about it and it needs work to get running . Anyone know anything about this company/welder. I have found out that they are over seas . But thats about it. I mean for 40 bucks can i really go wrong. I new to welding and this will be my first welder. Pics to follow . Cheers http://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?i...3460033mc9.jpghttp://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?i...3460034ld5.jpg
Reply:You may find that your 40bucks will lead to more than what you bargained for. If getting a gun and parts is expensive or hard to get.....you may have been able to use the money for a Lincoln that would be supported by almost every major welding supplier around.Or...one of those blue boxes they call Miller. Even that might be a possible solution. Good luck if you can get it all together for under 100bucks. Reply:That looks like one of those Harbor Freight welders. You may want to pass on that one. If you're new, you'll have a helluva time figuring if your welding or your welder needs fixing.
