A little somethin' for the Mrs.

She wanted something to put her plants on in front of the south facing slider for the winter. All recycled metal, the extensions on the front legs are to adjust length because back legs sit on the threshold,which is higher than carpet, and I didn't want to figure length w/ front legs sitting on carpet. Reply:great looking rack. i'll bet she is real happy with it. me i always have to make shelves for the wife to put her dolls on, realy boring, i finaly figured out i could make some lil furniture for her dolls that way i get to play with my weldersthe first 2 pics are part of a set that was suposd to look like wicker lawn furniture there is also a coffie type table that goes with it. the 3rd one is one i made for the susie dool but she started colecting the angel doll that is in it so she dose not fit it quite right as susie dolls are 12" and the angel is 15" but its a perfect fit as a love seat for 2 susie dolls. the wife made the clothing for the dolls herself from scratch she has gotten realy good at it. makes her own patterns and every thing.any how if i make some thing for the wife it usualy has to be in this scale. all the furniture is 100% steel with a lil paint slaped on there to purdy it up a bit. still not shore what i will be making her and her dolls for X-MAS but you can bet it will be small. Reply:if you want i can ask the wife to get her an angel dool but they are like $100 i think. i could make her the love seat though for about $40if you are sereous shoot me an e-mail and i'll get you a link to the guy that makes the dool or have the wife do it. the angel is a new line out, i think it is called a ball joint porcelin dool. yep i said porcilin(probly spelled wrong) not rubber or plastic like barbie, she orders them direct from over sease, the wife has been ordering from the maker scence he first started making the susie dools and just started the angel line, most dolls like her go for $300+ and need to be assembled its crazy but there ya go dool nuts will colect at any price, you should see our living room its scary,LOL heck i spent my hony moon at a dool convention in canada   but the wife likes them so what ya gona do?? summer is here, plant a tree for mother earth. if you dont have time or space, sponcer some one else to plant one for you.feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail me at [email][email protected] i got lots of time.
Reply:oops soor i was wrong the dool is closer to $200. and there are only 150 world wide, they are a limited production runs.you can get one similer to it that is vynal like barbie, they are also around $200 but more are made.most of the porcilin dools are $400 and up and come unassembled with japanease instruction, real pain. like i said though thease are colectors dools not the off the shelf wall mart type. the susie dools are closer to $100 and again produced in limited #'s just like the veronique dolls. generaly the hole years werth of dools in the line are sold out befor they are even made, you usualy have to buy the hole line to even get one from a dealer, but they can be forund on e-bay for 2X the list price (the wife quit collecting the veronique dolls when it got to the point you had to order the hole line to get any.she knows the maker of the susie and angel dools so she has an inside trac to insure she can get the ones she wants, if the makers were not 2 guys i would think she was sending some slinky pic's of her self to keep the inside service. humm she could be sending pic's of me though aaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!
