Now that I have this SA laying in pieces all over my shop while I'm getting the engine rebuilt what can I check in the exciter or main generator. It has a vacuum idle down, Generetor,magneto, starter and all seem to work. I will rebuild the carburetor and clean everything for a new paint job. I'm more concerned about what is inside of the welding part because it is a chore to take apart and put back together. Any experienced suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
