Reply:the drain hose/fitting going to the tank is only held on by a wire clamp..take that fitting and the torch to a good auto supply store or welding supply outlet and get an adapter..thats all you need......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:thank you zap yea i took the hose clamp off and fitting on the cooler but kep the torch hose at home and brought it to abco and the guy looked at me like i was from mars when i asked him for a fitting for it to hook up to my torch :-( i will try the auto stores tomorrow

Reply:Yes, definitely get an adapter, the way you are running right now the coolant is not even passing through the radiator. The way those coolers are supposed to work is that the the pump draws from the reservoir, pushes the coolant through the torch and then through the radiator so it (the coolant) gets cooled before being dumped back into the reservoir. By going straight from the torch to the reservoir you are not giving the coolant a chance to cool before it gets sucked up by the pump again. This causes all the coolant to get hot which decreases it's ability to cool the torch (obviously). Also, you could be damaging the pump itself since it was not designed to be pumping liquids that hot.(We use those same coolers on the water-cooled MIG guns at work)Visit Tensaiteki.com
Reply:On my CK 230 the return hose is also the power cable and has a larger fitting that fits into the adapter block (C-size vs B -size?)  Does your torch have a separate power cable?  You should have an adapter with a lug to attach it to your welder or a din connector and then a hose to go from your adapter to your cooler return fitting.
