Evening gents. Just wanted to post up one of many of my latest creations that I make.  This is a roof rack for a Jeep Cherokee.  I have addapted it to fit other jeeps as well.  Made from 1" square stock (most of my orders are out of 3/4"). Completely migged and perfectly square.  Pics to follow.   And for those that are wondering, I am not here to sell them, just wanted to post up my work.My temporary workplace in the fall, not anymore:After Paint:Come try it out and stay a while.

Reply:Very nice work man, how does it bolt up to the jeeps roof?
Reply:Looks great on the coffee tableIt's really pretty darn nice.  What with all those joints, it's a ton of welding  Doesn't look like it's one bit out of square, and it looks perfectly flat.Edit:  Bet the neighbors love the grinderLast edited by farmersamm; 01-02-2009 at 06:59 PM."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:That's what the wood looks like to me.  Must save a ton of time.  Nice rack. . . for a dude that is. Those that say "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" just don't understand!Fast-Cheap-Reliable:  Pick two.

Reply:Hey rusty--  That thing comes alive when it's on the Jeep.  Better view than seeing it by itself.  That's nice, and fits the lines of the vehicle. Not to mess up your thread..............  When the hell is Detroit gonna get off their azz, and start buildin' stuff that people want.  Guys donate their left nut to science to get ahold of one of the older SQUARE design trucks.  They just look better.  Not like that egg shaped crap they're buildin' nowdays.  Damn Tauris looks like a suppository on wheels, and so do the rest of 'em  Same with the new trucks"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Looks good.....you may not want to lay your tools on customers hoods etc.... I know it is probably a dual use off / on road rig but still you don't want to F up someone's paint
Reply:The rack looks great. Nice job on it. As for worrying about you possibly spamming us... God, I only wish we had spam that nice looking!!!And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
