What are the filled weights of the 80 cf oxy and acet tanks? Just trying to figure out what some manageable tank sizes are going to be - and how easily I can transport them...Thanks!
Reply:The weights will vary quite a bit due to cylinder type and design...and age. The new ones are lighter than the old ones you know.Here is what Airgas lists as filled weights. This should get you in the ballpark.O2- 80cf = 46.5# avg.Acet 75cf = 43.1# avg.FWIW, a 125cf O2 would be a better fit for a 75 acet. They are listed as 58# avg.
