Can anybody tell me who the best online suppliers are for 70S6 MIG wire?I am also wondering if there is a popular 70S6 "off" brand wire commonly sold online (not Lincoln, ESAB, Hobart, National Standard, etc.).Thanks for any help.My rod is hot, and it penetrates deep.
Reply:You can find s6 at a bus stop it is so common.V

Reply:I use welding depot for tig rod, don't have a mig welder so I couldn't tell you what brand their spools are, but they seem to have the best prices online. There isn't much difference between manufacturers running solid wire, so I don't see a reason to need to buy a name brand, like you would with fluxcore or stick electrodes. Here's a link to their website: http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/we...er_image=.html

Reply:I get better prices on wire at the LWS, as shipping is high enough to offset the local price.
Reply:htp is where i go. i usually order 4 10# spools at a time and they are 30-40% cheaper than local. at least for me out here in the boonies of the north.Dynasty 200DXPassport plus w/ spoolmate 100victor 315c oxy/(act and prop)Miller digital elitemilwaukee power tools
