I plan on getting a gold filter lense for my helmet. Should I get the same shade as a normal filter lense or should I go darker or lighter? Also, are these good for all welding processes? Thanks.

Reply:I run the Hobart brand shade 10. I think the reflect a bit of the brightness enabling you to go a little lighter. I could be dead wrong though.-Marc
Reply:Phillips safety products online has a really good gold lense. I got a 10. Its the best gold lense I've found very much like the old american optical cool blue lense. They sell for like 20 bucks. |
