Here are some welds on my new dads grill...They were done using .035 wire on 14 ga square tubing and plate, both grinded with a flapper wheel and cleaned of grease with thinner...Voltage at C and wire speed at 3, straight CO2 at about 20 cfh on a PROMIG 175Don´t know why they have some kind of contamination, wether its that is mig outside, maybe too hot?, wire had a little bit of oxidation, cleanliness cause of the thinner?, or scale? Best pics shown...as soon as it stops raining i´ll take some pics of the complete grill Attached ImagesLast edited by elvergon; 03-25-2007 at 05:56 AM.My Babies: HF Drill pressHF Pipe Bender3   4.5" Black and Decker angle grindersLincoln Electric PROMIG 175that´s it!

Reply:UPDATEE: Here it is the base for the grill...its rusty I know, but its 14 ga??  I really don´t care for the rust right now when I polish it I´ll try to take some metal off for reducing some weight...Well this is the base... Reply:This is the charcoal box... The "ears" for lifting it are still waiting to be done... and some front and back plate too so charcoal won´t fall to the bottom of the grill...Hopefully it´ll last long  Attached ImagesMy Babies: HF Drill pressHF Pipe Bender3   4.5" Black and Decker angle grindersLincoln Electric PROMIG 175that´s it!

Reply:Elvergon, are you welding those in an upward progression?  It looked like that in a couple pics.  If you are,  On material that thin you might have a smoother weld  if you adjust your settings and weld down hand.  Anything with any thickness i go up, but on sheet metal downhill will be easier and produce a smoother weld.  Just a thought.  Keep the pics coming.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:By golly, you're getting it done elvergon. Good work.
Reply:MicroZone,Ceviche can be made a variety of ways with just as many ingredients. The best ceviche I ever had was made out of Stingray meat. It's almost like a salsa with meat in it. Lots of fresh diced veggies, chile and lime juice or lemon juice. You just slop it up into a hot corn tortilla fresh off the grill and oh my god, you can eat a dozen before you realize how much you ate!Toss in a shot of agave tequila and an ice cold beer of your choice buddy and you got good times.Elvergon, don't tempt me. My dad is very familiar with Monterrey and can take me right to your location! I might have to come down there and drop some beads on your barbecue!heheheBest wishesJokerLincoln Power Mig 210MP MIGLincoln Power Mig 350MP - MIG and Push-PullLincoln TIG 300-300Lincoln Hobby-Weld 110v  Thanks JLAMESCK TIG TORCH, gas diffuser, pyrex cupThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101My brain
