Has anyone used this new mig suitcase yet if so how do you like it and what's the pros and cons of the reg LN-25 thank you Bear!!WELD IT RIGHT OR GO HOME!!!
Reply:I haven't even seen one of those yet, but you might ask David. He has a pro. I have an old LN-25 and it is fantastic. Mine is the cc/cv variable voltage model. I would like to someday have one that connects to the machine remote and can handle pulse.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.

Reply:This thread is 3 years old, but I will revive it.  Why does the "new" LN 25 Pro Extra Torque model retail for $200 less than the standard "old" Ln 25?  Are there drawbacks to getting the "Pro"?
Reply:I have a LN-25 pro.  As far as actual use its every bit as good as the good old LN.  But personally for ease of use and durability I use my old LN-25 day in and day out.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
Reply:I have a Miller Super S32P and it works great. I would like to hear from someone that has used both the Miller (32 or 12VS) and the LN-25 alot, and then hear the ups and downs of both. Right now I look at it as preference for the Miller, so I don't have to buy all new drive rolls. But, if I found an LN-25 cheap, I would not hesitate to buy one. I hear raves for both. Reply:I've been using the old LN-25's for years and don't really have a problem with them at all., I think I currently have 16 of them.  I believe the newer ones are a little easier to remove the case.  I do have one miller suitcase feeder but have only used it for bore welding and don't really like the fact that it can't be used "accross the arc" like the LN can, I also don't know if Miller makes an across the arc feeder, but if they do it would most likely be jus as good as the lincoln.6 Miller Big Blue 600 Air Paks2 Miller 400D6 Lincoln LN-25's4 Miller Xtreme 12VS2 Miller Dimension 812 4 Climax BW-3000Z bore welders Hypertherm 65 and 85Bug-O Track BugPair of Welpers

And when you say "across the arc", if you mean hooking the welding lead to power it and a small cable to sense the voltage, ie; voltage sensing, then yes, Miller does make them. My 32 is voltage sensing and the newer 12VS is also. I think that's what you meant.
