This is off of a Mulch Finisher, didn't get a picture of the whole machine, maybe I can find a picture. They were turning when the outside set of lift wheels dropped in a washout, the pictures tell the rest. Got them fixed up so they could get back in the field and has been raining ever since.Found a picture of a similar machine. Reply:Yep,Seen and made that repair a time or two...Harrow axles are always fun...Next time, I would suggest that you add a T brace, gusset or something to reinforce the part. What happended before can happen again. My idea would be to prevent it from ever happening again if it fell into a canyon while it was turning.Got the completed pics?Last edited by lugweld; 04-28-2009 at 12:11 PM.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT

Reply:What's really amazing are some of the old photographs of large fields being worked by up to 4 tractors in a staggered line. Each one probably pulling a 10' implement.I've seen old photos of the same thing when plowing. Each tractor maybe pulling a 4-16 plow.Amazing how far we've comeLast edited by farmersamm; 04-28-2009 at 08:35 PM.Reason: double specs, have to understand it to see it.
